Since receiving her BFA in Dance from SUNY Purchase (1994), Rosalynde LeBlanc (performer) has been dancing professionally in NY. She was a member of Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company (1993-1999) and Mikhail Baryshnikov’s White Oak Dance Project (1999-2002). She has also worked with Lawrence Goldhuber, Trisha Brown, Liz Gerring, and Martha Clarke, among others. Currently Ms. LeBlanc is on faculty at Long Island University and is a contributing writer for Dance Magazine. She can be seen the Emmy-Award winning dance documentary, Free to Dance, in Burt Barr’s short film, Roz and John Turturro’s upcoming film Romance and Cigarettes.
